Global Facility Management Consultant - Offices

About the role

A large organisation with offices and facilities in Algeria, Egypt, the UAE, the Netherlands, France, Australia and other countries is looking for a Global Facility Management Consultant to lead its corporate facility management across offices in 7+ countries. The client's portfolio includes leased and owned properties such as offices, operational premises and support services (catering, parking, maintenance and security). The role is based in Abu Dhabi and is permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose the current state of corporate facility management across all countries where the company operates
• Analyse global spending, vendor contracts and performance to find optimisation and cost-saving opportunities
• Design a global facility management strategy and operating model, including governance, standards and processes
• Recommend and initiate actions that improve efficiency, strengthen vendor management and ensure consistent service quality
• Advise on the design of a new shared services office location
• Map and document the global facility management footprint, including leases, ownership structures, spend and contract terms
• Identify inefficiencies, inconsistencies and risks in local arrangements, quantify savings and draft an action plan with measurable KPIs
• Present findings to the Global VP Human Capital and the wider ELT team

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience in facility management, corporate real estate or operations management in multinational or multi-site organisations
• Proven track record leading diagnostic assessments and transformation initiatives
• Knowledge of vendor management, outsourcing models and contract negotiation
• Experience optimising cost and service quality across regions, and familiarity with leased and owned facilities
• Exposure to international operations in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East
