Global Manager - Business Integrations - Freight Forwarding

About the role

The Global Manager – Business Integrations for Freight Forwarding is responsible for capturing, analysing and documenting system, process and data requirements from acquired companies. This role bridges regional integration teams and the wider Freight Forwarding management to ensure smooth, low‑risk transitions onto the group’s technology stack.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with regional business integration teams to understand existing applications, system landscapes and operational processes.
• Capture and document detailed business, system and data requirements for integration into the core tech stack.
• Conduct gap and fit analyses comparing acquired company systems against group standards.
• Produce business requirement documents, process flows and system specifications for technical teams.
• Partner with PMI community, business owners, Group Tech and functional stakeholders to validate requirements and integration approaches.
• Support development of integration plans, migration strategies and sequencing with project leads.
• Identify integration risks, dependencies and issues, escalating and proposing mitigation options.
• Assist with testing, cut‑over planning and go‑live activities, and provide post‑integration support.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation for governance and audit purposes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of integration methodology and best practices.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or Technology.
• Proven experience in business integrations, post‑merger transformation and integration activities.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, plan and control work.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
