About the role
The European Union seeks a senior Governance & Public Administration expert to strengthen the strategic partnership with Egypt. Based in Abu Dhabi, the role provides rapid, flexible, high‑quality technical assistance to improve policy dialogue, programme implementation and institutional capacities of Egyptian partners.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver technical assistance aligned with EU‑Egypt bilateral cooperation priorities.
- Conduct institutional assessments, functional reviews and capacity‑needs analyses for public entities.
- Develop organisational, administrative and institutional reform recommendations and actionable plans.
- Support ministries and other public authorities in implementing governance and public‑administration reforms.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in public administration, political science, governance, law, institutional development or a related field.
- Minimum seven years of professional experience in governance, public‑administration reform and institutional development.
- Fluent in English (C1) and Arabic (C1).
