Government Relations Officer (UAE National)

About the role

The Government and Regulatory Officer is responsible for processing and responding to requests and queries from courts, police, public prosecution and other law‑enforcement authorities across the UAE and Qatar. The role ensures that all cases are handled accurately, compliantly and within agreed service levels.

Key responsibilities

• Process UAE court orders in line with approved procedures.
• Handle Qatar court orders and law‑enforcement agency requests within defined SLAs.
• Manage police letters and enquiries across all UAE emirates.
• Deal with public prosecution and CID correspondence in the UAE.
• Manage and respond to email enquiries from government entities and stakeholders.
• Execute case processing through the Velocity‑MOFT system where applicable.
• Ensure all correspondence complies with regulatory instructions and internal policies.
• Monitor, coordinate and follow up on assigned cases to guarantee timely closure.
• Support initiatives that improve operational efficiency and service quality.
• Coordinate with internal departments and maintain effective liaison with regulators and support teams.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by line management.

Required profile

• UAE national as specified in the title.
• Experience in processing government or regulatory requests.
• Ability to work within defined procedures, SLAs and compliance frameworks.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills across multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Velocity‑MOFT case management system.
