Graduate Geotechnical Engineer

About the role

Jacobs is seeking a motivated graduate to join its geotechnical engineering team in Dubai. The role offers exposure to a variety of infrastructure projects, allowing you to apply academic knowledge to real‑world soil and rock investigations while developing professional engineering skills.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in site investigations, borehole logging and laboratory testing.
• Support the preparation of geotechnical reports, design calculations and recommendations.
• Participate in field work, including drilling, sampling and in‑situ testing.
• Contribute to the development of project documentation and data management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate geotechnical solutions into overall project designs.

Required profile

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Strong academic record demonstrating excellence.
• High level of motivation, determination and a commitment to continuous learning.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills in diverse environments.
