Graphic Designer

About the role

The Graphic Designer will create innovative, high‑quality visual communication materials that support the municipality’s strategic objectives, public awareness campaigns, stakeholder engagement, corporate communications and branding requirements. The role works across digital, print and multimedia platforms to convey municipal services, transportation projects and community programmes to both internal and external audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design and produce visual assets for digital, print and multimedia channels, including brochures, reports, newsletters, presentations, infographics, banners, signage and promotional materials.
• Develop visual concepts that clearly communicate municipal and transportation initiatives and campaigns, adhering to approved branding standards.
• Maintain consistency of the Municipality & Transportation corporate identity across all communication materials and support enhancements to the visual identity.
• Create graphics for websites, social media, mobile applications and digital campaigns, as well as motion graphics, interactive content and other digital assets when required.
• Optimize designs for various digital channels and audience requirements.
• Collaborate with communication, marketing, planning, engineering and project teams to develop effective visual materials for campaigns related to transportation projects, infrastructure developments, municipal services and public events.
• Liaise with internal departments and external vendors, printers, agencies and production partners to assess design requirements, coordinate deliverables and ensure compliance with design standards.
