Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Dubai

About the role

The Group CFO will lead the financial strategy, governance and performance management for a large UAE‑based business services group. Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the Board, the role provides commercial and strategic finance leadership across the entire portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the Group’s long‑term financial strategy and growth plans.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, performance management and business partnering across all businesses.
• Advise on capital allocation, investments, acquisitions, disposals and other corporate transactions.
• Manage treasury, banking relationships, funding strategy and capital structure.
• Ensure robust financial controls, governance, compliance and reporting standards.
• Drive finance transformation, automation, data‑led decision making and systems optimisation.
• Act as a trusted adviser to the CEO, Board, shareholders, lenders and external stakeholders.
• Build and develop a high‑performing finance leadership team across the Group.

Required profile

• Recognised accounting qualification (ACA, CA, CPA or equivalent).
• 20+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including Group CFO roles.
• Proven experience in a large, diversified organisation with strong FP&A, treasury, corporate finance and capital allocation expertise.
• Demonstrated M&A, investment appraisal and transaction execution experience.
• Deep understanding of IFRS, governance, risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Extensive experience working with Boards, shareholders, lenders and executive teams.
• Track record of leading finance transformation and operational excellence.
• UAE experience is essential; broader GCC exposure is a plus.
