Group Strategic Investments Manager

About the role

The Group Strategic Investments Manager will lead the execution of key workstreams across mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, disposals, and capital market transactions for ADNOC and its subsidiaries. This role ensures that all strategic investments are governed by robust frameworks and aligned with the Group’s financial and risk guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Lead workstreams such as valuation, modelling, due diligence, project management and structuring for investment projects.
• Oversee procurement and management of external consultants when required.
• Prepare marketing and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support development and rollout of the Group’s Investment Governance Policies and Framework.
• Ensure smooth submission flow to the investment committee and quality‑assure final financial models.
• Liaise with legal, compliance, finance, treasury, HR and other functions to develop business cases and meet deal requirements.
• Plan, supervise and coordinate activities within the assigned area, and train staff on relevant skills.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in M&A, valuation, financial modelling and investment governance.
• Proven ability to manage complex, cross‑functional projects and external advisors.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience coordinating legal, finance and operational teams.
• Experience supervising and developing junior staff.
