Groups & Events Executive - Sales

About the role

The Groups & Events Executive – Sales will be the primary sales contact for Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort, driving group and event business. You will work closely with existing and prospective clients, negotiating contracts and maximizing revenue through up‑selling and effective catering solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for all group and event enquiries, guiding customers through the sales process.
• Negotiate and confirm bookings in line with the hotel’s sales strategy and pricing guidelines.
• Identify up‑selling opportunities and drive additional revenue from catering and ancillary services.
• Maintain accurate and timely administration of all sales documentation.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends to keep the resort’s offering competitive.
• Produce regular performance reports and collaborate with department leadership on improvement plans.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months of experience in hospitality sales or a related field.
• Strong understanding of group and event sales processes within a luxury hotel environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work strategically while managing day‑to‑day sales activities.
