Guest Relations Agent

About the role

Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi, a luxury hotel offering Turkish hospitality, is looking for a Guest Relations Agent to oversee and direct all aspects of guest relations and maximise guest satisfaction. The position is full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure maximum guest satisfaction through personal recognition and prompt, cordial attention from arrival through departure
• Maintain repeat guest history and give special recognition to VIPs and repeat guests
• Meet and greet VIP guests personally
• Liaise with Concierge and Butler on hotel events, restaurant promotions, limousine needs and VIP requests
• Prepare welcome cards and amenities for rooms before arrival, and update the repeat guest system
• Stay in close contact with the airport concierge for new arrivals and departures
• Handle guest complaints, follow up on corrective actions, and review arrival lists for room allocations and special requests
• Prepare amenity requisitions on time, promote inter-hotel sales and in-house facilities, and carry out related duties and special projects

Required profile

• Associate degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in Guest Relations, Front Desk Operations or Customer Service in hospitality
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Team player with strong organisational and time-management skills, able to handle stress in a fast-paced environment
• Professional presentation and impeccable grooming

Required skills

• Proficiency with hotel property management systems and basic computer applications
• Preferred: Opera or similar hospitality software, multilingualism, hospitality customer service certification, luxury hotel experience
