Guest Service Agent – Luxury Hotel Front Desk

About the role

Join the InterContinental Dubai Marina team as a Guest Service Agent, delivering warm and professional front‑desk service in a five‑star luxury environment. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable stay.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Perform efficient check‑in and check‑out procedures following hotel standards.
• Verify guest information, process payments, and issue room keys.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints.
• Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, services, promotions, and local attractions.
• Handle reservations, amendments, cancellations, and special requests.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate guest records in the property management system.
• Process cash, credit‑card, and other payment transactions.
• Answer telephone calls professionally and direct calls as required.
• Upsell rooms, facilities, and services when appropriate.
• Keep the front desk and lobby area clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Follow hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards.
• Assist with emergency procedures and safety protocols.
