Guest Service Executive – Front Office

About the role

The Guest Service Executive will be the first point of contact for guests at Zabeel House by Jumeirah The Greens. The role focuses on delivering a warm welcome, handling check‑in and check‑out processes, and ensuring each guest’s stay is smooth and memorable.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, register them, issue room keys and welcome booklets.
• Process arrivals payments and close guest bills accurately.
• Prepare amenities for arrivals and assist guests in the absence of the Guest Services Team Leader.
• Provide personalised check‑in for VIP guests.
• Maintain up‑to‑date guest profile histories.
• Assist guests throughout their stay with any requests.
• Enroll guests in the Jumeirah One Loyalty Membership Programme.
• Sell rooms to walk‑in guests at the best possible rate.
• Keep the reception desk staffed, operationally ready and stocked.
• Protect guest privacy by following security procedures.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of hotel services and facilities.
• Report for duty on time in the correct uniform.
• Manage the reception email inbox and ensure timely communication.
• Act as concierge, providing restaurant reservations, transport arrangements and local advice.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in a hotel‑related field.
• Previous hotel experience through studies or work.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in English.
• Additional language skills (Arabic, Russian, Mandarin or other European languages) are a plus.
• Team‑oriented attitude and ability to work with diverse nationalities.
• Emotional intelligence to anticipate and fulfil guest needs.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency with Windows, Internet Explorer and Microsoft Word.
• Familiarity with property management systems such as Fidelio, Opera or HotSos (preferred).
