Guest Service Executive - Gift Shop

About the role

A 5-star luxury hotel is looking for a Guest Service Executive for its gift shop. The role combines welcoming guests, assisting with product selection, processing sales and keeping the outlet tidy and well-stocked.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests warmly and professionally, ensuring a high standard of service.
• Help guests choose products and give accurate recommendations based on their needs and preferences.
• Process cash and card sales accurately, following cash-handling procedures.
• Keep the outlet clean, organized and attractive according to 5-star hotel standards.
• Monitor stock, replenish products and make sure items are displayed, priced and presented correctly.
• Receive and check deliveries, help with stock control and report discrepancies, damage or shortages.
• Handle guest enquiries and escalate issues when needed.
• Promote products and maximise sales opportunities.

Required profile

• Previous experience in retail sales or hospitality/hotel.
• Fluent Russian or Arabic, with a good command of English.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Sales-driven, proactive and well-presented.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
