Guest Service Supervisor

About the role

The Guest Service Supervisor ensures smooth front‑desk operations, welcoming guests and managing all aspects of check‑in and check‑out while maintaining high service standards in a luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process all guest check‑ins, verify identity, payment method, assign rooms and issue room keys.
• Enter and manage Marriott Rewards information and ensure rates match market codes.
• Handle all payment types, vouchers, paid‑outs, and charges; balance and drop receipts securely.
• Compile daily reports, cashier and closing logs, and manage contingency lists.
• Provide guests with property information, directions and respond to service requests by coordinating with appropriate staff.
• Notify loss prevention/security of any theft reports and follow accounting procedures for manual authorizations.
• Assist management in training, evaluating, counseling and motivating team members, acting as a role model for fair treatment.
• Maintain personal appearance, confidentiality, and adherence to safety and company policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in guest services or related hospitality role.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle cash and payments securely.
