Head Hostess – High Society

About the role

The Head Hostess will lead the front‑of‑house team in the restaurant at The Lana, Dubai, delivering an unforgettable, high‑society guest experience. You will embody the Dorchester Collection’s values of passion, respect and creativity while ensuring the service standards exceed the expectations of discerning guests.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, coordinating with kitchen and service staff.
• Welcome and seat guests, ensuring a warm, personalized reception.
• Manage reservations, guest inquiries and special requests with precision.
• Train, mentor and schedule front‑of‑house staff to maintain consistent service quality.
• Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the Food & Beverage manager on menu presentation and upselling initiatives.
