Head of AI Platforms – Lead AI Platform Development

About the role

At Al-Futtaim Automotive we are building a connected ecosystem where AI, automation, data, and intelligent decision‑making transform customer experiences and business operations across automotive brands. We are seeking a visionary, hands‑on technology leader to build and scale our AI Platform – the foundation for enterprise orchestration, intelligent automation, experimentation and AI‑powered decision‑making at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Embed AI into critical customer and operational journeys.
• Build reusable AI and automation capabilities that scale across brands and functions.
• Turn machine‑learning models into enterprise‑grade services.
• Enable experimentation as a core business capability.
• Establish a modern platform foundation for future AI innovation.
• Create measurable business value through automation, orchestration, and intelligent decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, Data Science or a related technical discipline.
• 12+ years of software engineering, platform engineering or technology leadership experience, with at least 5 years leading engineering, architecture, platform or AI teams.
• Proven track record of building and scaling enterprise‑grade platforms and delivering complex transformation initiatives.
• Experience deploying AI, ML, Generative AI, Agentic AI or intelligent automation solutions into production environments.
• Experience in multi‑brand organizations (automotive, retail, telecom, logistics, financial services) is advantageous.
