Head of Business Development – Middle East

About the role

Alpaca is looking for a Head of Business Development to lead its commercial and strategic expansion across the Middle East, covering the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the broader GCC. You will be responsible for building the company’s regional presence from the ground up, forging partnerships with fintechs, exchanges, brokerages, banks, regulators and government institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a market entry and growth strategy for the Middle East region.
• Identify, negotiate and close partnership deals with fintech platforms, exchanges, broker‑dealers, banks and regulatory bodies.
• Build and maintain a trusted network of ecosystem partners across the GCC.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Product and executive teams to align regional initiatives with global objectives.
• Represent Alpaca at industry events, conferences and stakeholder meetings.
• Provide regular reporting on pipeline, revenue forecasts and market insights to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level business development experience in financial services or fintech.
• Strong, established relationships with key players in the Middle East financial ecosystem.
• Track record of successfully closing high‑value partnerships and deals.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to operate autonomously in a fast‑growth environment.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
