Head of Cement Trading

About the role

Redstone Commodity Search is partnering with a fast‑growing physical commodities trading group to establish a global cementitious products trading team based in Dubai. The Head of Cement Trading will lead the creation and expansion of the cement trading business across key regions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive growth and development of trading operations for cement, clinker, gypsum, slag, fly ash and related products.
• Build and maintain global relationships with suppliers and customers, focusing on LATAM, Africa and Asia.
• Conduct in‑depth market analysis to anticipate trends, supply‑demand shifts and pricing strategies.
• Lead negotiations for procurement and sales, securing favourable terms while navigating regional regulatory requirements.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks associated with trading activities in target regions.
• Oversee a high‑value book of business and ensure sustainable profitability.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of proven experience trading cement, clinker, fly ash, gypsum or similar products.
• Demonstrated success in negotiations and relationship management within the cement industry.
• Deep understanding of global cement market dynamics, trade practices and regulatory environments.
• Ability to travel and reside in Dubai.
• Track record of managing a portable, high‑value book of business.
