Head of Finance – Corporate & Subsidiary Leadership

About the role

The Head of Finance is the primary finance leader responsible for corporate‑wide financial stewardship, governance, and performance management across the corporate entity and its subsidiaries operating in multiple jurisdictions. Reporting directly to the CEO, the role shapes finance strategy, drives consolidation and reporting, and ensures robust controls and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a unified finance strategy across subsidiaries, aligning with corporate growth, capital structure and stakeholder expectations.
• Lead corporate‑wide financial consolidation, reporting and executive dashboards, providing transparent insights to senior leadership.
• Establish and enforce finance policies, delegation of authority, internal controls and governance frameworks for all subsidiaries.
• Oversee annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, scenario planning and performance management, setting KPIs and driving corrective actions.
• Standardise commercial finance practices, support contract negotiations and drive profitability improvement initiatives.
• Lead corporate treasury, liquidity planning, cash pooling and funding structures while managing financial risk.
• Ensure IFRS compliance, oversee internal and external audits and maintain statutory compliance across jurisdictions.
• Identify, evaluate and prioritise investment opportunities, providing data‑driven recommendations to the CEO.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; CPA, ACCA or FCCA certification mandatory.
• 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including at least 5 years as a Head of Finance or Finance Manager overseeing multiple subsidiaries.
• Recent experience in an Engineering Services, Construction or Contracting organisation.
• Proven ability to act as a strategic business partner to the CEO and senior management.
