Head of Finance

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on, commercially astute Finance Leader to join a well‑established logistics, supply‑chain and cold‑chain organization in Dubai. Reporting to executive leadership, the Head of Finance will act as a strategic business partner while owning financial governance, performance management, compliance and operational finance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all finance functions including accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, tax and audit.
• Prepare timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local regulations.
• Manage cash flow, working capital and liquidity to support operational and growth objectives.
• Design and improve financial controls, policies, procedures and ERP reporting tools.
• Drive annual budgeting, forecasting and long‑range financial planning processes.
• Provide financial modelling and business case analysis for strategic decisions.
• Partner with operational teams to identify cost optimisation, margin enhancement and efficiency opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, corporate tax and other statutory obligations.
• Lead internal and external audit engagements and close audit findings.
• Maintain relationships with banks, auditors and other external stakeholders.
• Develop and mentor finance, procurement and administration teams.
