Head of HR – Space Tech & Satcom

About the role

Emagine Solutions FZE is seeking a senior HR leader to build and run a high‑performance HR function for its European space‑technology business operating in Dubai. You will own the full HR agenda, shape strategy, and lead a team of around 20 professionals across HR and talent acquisition.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute end‑to‑end HR strategy for the region while aligning with global objectives.
• Manage and develop a 20‑person HR/TA team covering HRBP, talent acquisition, operations, L&D, and compensation.
• Partner with C‑suite and business leaders on organization design, workforce planning, and leadership capability.
• Build scalable HR operations, policies, processes, employee lifecycle management, and governance.
• Lead talent acquisition for specialist technical roles, including engineering and security‑cleared positions.
• Oversee performance management, succession planning, and leadership development programs.
• Design compensation frameworks, grading, benefits, and retention strategies.
• Ensure compliance with employment law, internal controls, and regulated/contractual requirements.

Required profile

• Proven senior HR leadership experience as Head of HR or HR Director.
• Background in space, satcom, aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated technology sectors.
• Experience leading a sizeable HR function (≈20 people) including talent acquisition.
• Strong stakeholder management with executives and technical leadership.
• International HR exposure, preferably Europe and Middle East.
• Experience with security‑sensitive programs, export controls, or clearance‑heavy hiring.
• Track record of HR transformation, shared services, or operating‑model redesign.
