About the role

Kintetic Space Interior Design LLC is seeking a visionary Head of Interior Design to lead its design function across a diverse portfolio of retail, residential, office and commercial projects in Dubai. The role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on design work, ensuring high‑quality outcomes from concept through delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end design processes, including concept development, space planning, mood boards, material selection, detailed design, technical coordination and quality control.
• Contribute personally to priority concepts, client presentations, drawings and design reviews when needed.
• Manage multi‑sector projects with a focus on retail, supermarkets, residential interiors, offices and commercial spaces.
• Allocate work, review output, coach designers, control deadlines and maintain consistent creative and technical standards.
• Own client relationships: understand briefs, challenge requirements constructively, present solutions confidently and maintain long‑term partnerships.
• Support business development by prospecting new clients, networking, generating leads and converting opportunities into signed projects.
• Prepare and negotiate commercial proposals, including scope, fees, phases, variations and payment terms.
• Coordinate delivery with consultants, contractors, suppliers, fit‑out teams, MEP disciplines and site teams to protect design intent.
• Control project performance through programme, resource planning, budget awareness, variations, client approvals and handover quality.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in interior design, preferably across retail, residential and commercial sectors.
• Strong client‑facing skills with the ability to manage expectations and build lasting relationships.
• Business development mindset, capable of identifying and converting new opportunities.
• Excellent project management abilities, including coordination with multidisciplinary teams and contractors.
• Effective communication, presentation and negotiation skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Professional use of 3D design visualisation tools.
• Revit/BIM capability (highly desirable).
• Deep knowledge of materials, finishes, joinery, lighting, furniture, signage/wayfinding and detailing.
• Ability to review technical drawings, shop drawings, BOQs and specifications to identify constructability risks.
