Head of IPO Readiness & Financial Reporting

About the role

We are looking for a senior finance professional to lead the IPO readiness and financial reporting function as we transition from a privately‑held real‑estate developer to a publicly listed company on a UAE stock exchange. The role demands deep expertise in IFRS, UAE regulatory frameworks, and corporate governance, combined with hands‑on leadership in a fast‑growing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct gap analysis against ADX/DFM listing requirements and drive remediation plans.
• Lead preparation of the financial sections of the IPO prospectus and coordinate comfort letters with auditors.
• Serve as primary finance liaison with the CMA, underwriters, legal advisors, and auditors.
• Ensure all financial reporting complies with IFRS and UAE regulations.
• Oversee year‑end statutory audit and manage corporate tax and VAT compliance.
• Design and monitor SOX‑style internal controls and finance policies (revenue recognition, procurement, CapEx).
• Implement or optimise ERP systems for scalable post‑IPO reporting.
• Support the Group CFO in investor‑relations activities, roadshow materials, and board presentations.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Chartered Accountant qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, or CMA) is mandatory.
• Proven experience taking a company through an IPO, preferably under the UAE CMA framework.
• Strong audit background and familiarity with corporate tax and VAT regulations.
