Head of ISO & Compliance

About the role

Janus Digital is seeking a senior leader to embed ISO‑based governance directly into its AI‑native operating model. You will own the transformation from periodic audits to continuous, real‑time compliance across a fast‑scaling, global technology platform.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end implementation of ISO 9001 (Quality) and ISO 27001 (Information Security), including gap analysis, risk framework, documentation, controls, internal audits and continual improvement.
• Partner with the Agentic AI engineering team to translate ISO clauses into automated workflows that pull evidence, monitor controls and flag non‑conformities from systems such as Monday.com, Git/CI‑CD and HR platforms.
• Shift the organization from point‑in‑time certification cycles to AI‑driven daily compliance monitoring, with human review of exceptions.
• Scale the governance framework across new markets, establishing in‑country compliance champions and adapting to local regulations (e.g., UAE PDPL, Singapore frameworks, GDPR).
• Extend the standards portfolio as needed (ISO/IEC 42001, ISO 22301, SOC 2, etc.) and manage relationships with certification bodies.

Required profile

• 8+ years leading ISO 9001 and/or ISO 27001 implementation and certification, preferably in a high‑growth SaaS, technology or fintech environment.
• ISO 9001 or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor certification (or equivalent).
• Experience running compliance programs across multiple jurisdictions simultaneously.
• Proven ability to introduce automation or AI‑driven tooling into compliance work.
• Comfort partnering with engineers and building processes from scratch in a resource‑lean, fast‑scaling organization.
