Head of Kindergarten

About the role

The Head of Kindergarten will lead the early childhood department at GMS Dubai for the 2026‑2027 academic year, overseeing curriculum delivery, staff development and student progress in a child‑centered environment.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily administrative and academic operations across the Kindergarten department.
• Oversee early years curriculum delivery, instructional design and continuous student assessments.
• Guide, evaluate and mentor teaching staff to raise classroom delivery and pedagogical standards.
• Track individual student learning progress and implement targeted developmental interventions.
• Partner with parents, educators and school executives to support holistic child development and community engagement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education or a related field; B.Ed. strongly preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of hands‑on experience in Kindergarten or Early Years settings, with proven leadership or departmental coordination experience.
• Familiarity with CBSE curriculum is preferred.
• Knowledge of early childhood learning frameworks, child development psychology, student assessment protocols and curriculum planning.
