Head of Primary (start Jan 2027)

About the role

Aldar Education is looking for an experienced Head of Primary to lead its Early Years, Key Stage 1 and preparatory phases from January 2027. The role combines strategic, educational and operational leadership to ensure high standards across the primary provision.

Key responsibilities

• Provide visible, accountable leadership for the Primary School and develop a strategic vision aligned with the school’s overall direction.
• Oversee curriculum design, teaching quality, assessment and pupil outcomes from FS1 to Year 8.
• Ensure safeguarding, pastoral care and a positive culture for all students.
• Lead inspection readiness, compliance with ADEK and UAE regulations, and contribute to whole‑school strategy as a senior leader.
• Manage operational effectiveness, staffing and resource allocation across the phase.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in a British‑curriculum primary or preparatory school.
• Strong academic ambition paired with excellent pastoral judgement.
• Ability to unite Early Years, primary and preparatory practice while respecting developmental needs.
• High visibility with pupils, parents and staff; collaborative working style with senior leadership.
