Head of Retail Business Finance

About the role

Emirates NBD is looking for an experienced finance leader to act as the strategic finance partner for Retail Banking, Retail Client Segments and international Retail Banking & Wealth Management operations. The role will drive financial performance management, governance and decision‑support across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all finance activities and provide strategic partnership across Retail Products, Retail Client Segments and RBWM international businesses.
• Deliver timely, accurate and insightful management information to support performance monitoring and executive decision‑making.
• Drive strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management processes, highlighting risks, opportunities and key drivers.
• Strengthen governance, financial controls and reconciliation frameworks while ensuring compliance with Group policies.
• Lead finance transformation projects, including planning tools, business intelligence platforms and management information enhancements.

Required profile

• Qualified Accountant or MBA with a finance specialization.
• Minimum 10 years of post‑qualification experience in the finance function of a large banking institution.
• Strong understanding of finance, business performance management, strategic planning and financial systems.
• Exposure to Retail Banking and Wealth Management environments.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, lead high‑performing teams and thrive in fast‑paced settings.
