About the role

The Head of Risk Architecture and Data Management leads the technical and analytical function within Group Risk Management at ADIB. Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Risk Management, the role drives the design, implementation and governance of risk data frameworks, rating models and scorecards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement a comprehensive Data Management Framework (DMF) for risk data capture, storage, analysis and model validation.
• Lead the IFRS9 project and ensure alignment with Basel II/III requirements.
• Design and maintain data tracking, monitoring and security tools for risk modelling.
• Act as Scrum Master and Project Management Lead, preparing detailed project plans, managing resources and reporting progress to stakeholders.
• Oversee risk applications architecture, data science initiatives and process optimisation across the Enterprise Risk Management Group.

Required profile

• Senior manager with strong independent thinking and communication skills.
• Advanced quantitative analytics background supporting risk management functions.
• Deep knowledge of Basel II, Basel III and IFRS9 standards.
• Proven experience in leading large‑scale risk and IT projects.
• Ability to guide cross‑functional teams and interact with all bank stakeholders.
