Head of Security Architecture – Digital Security

About the role

The Head of Security Architecture will act as the deputy to the CISO, providing strategic leadership and hands‑on expertise in designing and implementing enterprise‑wide security architectures. This senior position is responsible for ensuring the organisation’s security posture is resilient, aligned with business objectives, and embedded by design across all digital initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the enterprise security architecture vision, strategy and roadmap.
• Lead global security architecture and engineering teams, guiding design for cloud transformation, data protection and secure SDLC practices.
• Embed security‑by‑design principles into business operations, digital transformation projects and emerging technology adoption.
• Provide thought leadership on AI security, Zero Trust, quantum readiness and cloud‑native security.
• Refresh and institutionalise the Group Security Strategy, including a Security Service Catalogue and Target Operating Model.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to influence security governance, risk management and compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 years of experience (216 months) in information security and security architecture.
• Proven track record of senior leadership, preferably as a deputy to a CISO or similar role.
• Strong executive influence and ability to work with cross‑functional global teams.
• Deep understanding of modern threat landscapes and emerging technologies.
