Head Waiter – Son Of A Fish, Dubai

About the role

AlphaMind Group is looking for a Head Waiter to lead the front‑of‑house team at its Son Of A Fish venue in Dubai. The role involves ensuring smooth service, high guest satisfaction, and supporting the Restaurant Manager in daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and attend to guests in a professional, friendly, and attentive manner, taking accurate food and beverage orders and communicating them to the kitchen and bar.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, address requests or complaints promptly, and maintain strong knowledge of the menu, ingredients, allergens and daily promotions.
• Lead and supervise waiters, runners and other service staff, brief the team before each shift, allocate sections and duties, and monitor grooming, punctuality and attendance.
• Coach team members, support staff training and performance follow‑up, and ensure service standards are consistently met.
• Prepare the assigned section before service, oversee table setup, cleanliness, mise en place and overall restaurant presentation.
• Coordinate with the kitchen, bar, hostess and other departments to ensure accurate and timely order delivery and optimal table turnover.
• Follow company policies, food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards, and handle cash and payments according to procedures.

Required profile

• Ability to oversee the smooth and efficient operation of an assigned restaurant section.
• Strong knowledge of menu items, ingredients, allergens and daily promotions.
• Capability to monitor and guide staff performance, grooming and attendance.
• Experience in delivering high‑quality guest service in a hospitality environment.
