Health Care Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our multidisciplinary team in Abu Dhabi. Working closely with nursing staff, you will help meet the daily non‑clinical needs of residents and their families, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Support patient mobility using safe handling techniques and facilitate social activities and outings.
• Maintain clean, safe, well‑stocked patient areas and follow care plans under nurse or therapist supervision.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families and the healthcare team, contributing to a collaborative environment.
• Participate in training, performance reviews and quality improvement initiatives.
• Follow infection‑control, health‑and‑safety and emergency protocols, reporting incidents as required.

Required profile

• Certified Nursing Aide or Caregiver qualification (required).
• Diploma in Nursing (preferred).
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum one year of experience in healthcare, preferably long‑term care.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
