Healthcare Aide

About the role

The Healthcare Aide will work in the Women’s Out‑patient Department (OPD) of Danat Al Emarat Hospital, supporting physicians, nurses and other staff to deliver safe, efficient and patient‑centred care for women attending outpatient clinics.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients with registration, clinic flow and appointment coordination.
• Escort patients to examination and treatment rooms as needed.
• Prepare and clean consultation and examination rooms before and after visits.
• Measure and record basic vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, height, weight).
• Support nurses and physicians during examinations and minor procedures.
• Maintain patient privacy, dignity and comfort at all times.
• Clean and disinfect equipment and clinical areas according to infection‑control standards.
• Stock and replenish medical supplies, linens and consumables.
• Transport specimens, documents and equipment within the department.
• Assist patients with mobility needs and provide support during investigations or procedures.
• Observe and report any changes in patient condition to the registered nurse or physician.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation as delegated.

Required profile

• Ability to interact courteously with patients and staff.
• Attention to detail and commitment to infection‑prevention protocols.
• Physical ability to assist with patient mobility and transport.

Required skills
