Healthcare Data Scientist – Clinical Analytics & Business Intelligence

About the role

Al-Futtaim Health’s HealthHub network is looking for an experienced Healthcare Data Scientist to join its corporate team in Dubai Festival City. The role sits at the intersection of clinical operations, advanced analytics, reporting, machine learning and business intelligence, helping to turn complex healthcare data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver advanced healthcare reporting and visual dashboards for clinical and operational teams.
• Develop predictive analytics and machine‑learning models to support patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with finance, revenue‑cycle, quality and executive stakeholders to translate data findings into business recommendations.
• Maintain data‑governance standards and ensure data quality across hospital, clinic and health‑insurance datasets.
• Provide ongoing support and enhancements for Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI and Tableau.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience within hospitals, clinics, healthcare groups or health‑insurance organisations.
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows, revenue‑cycle management and healthcare utilisation metrics.
• Ability to communicate technical insights to non‑technical senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python and R for data analysis and modelling.
• Advanced SQL querying and data manipulation.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau and other BI visualisation tools.
• Knowledge of machine‑learning techniques and their application in healthcare.
• Familiarity with data‑governance principles and healthcare analytics standards.
