Heavy Driver

About the role

As a Heavy Driver you will operate heavy‑duty trucks to deliver ready‑mix concrete to construction sites across Dubai, ensuring timely and safe deliveries while coordinating closely with the dispatch team.

Key responsibilities

• Operate heavy‑duty vehicles to transport ready‑mix concrete to various construction sites.
• Plan and follow optimized delivery routes, taking traffic conditions and site requirements into account.
• Maintain effective communication with dispatch and site supervisors to ensure accurate delivery times.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper loading and unloading procedures.
• Keep the vehicle clean and organized, presenting a professional appearance.
• Assist with loading and unloading concrete in collaboration with site personnel.
• Record delivery details such as time, location, and quantity of concrete delivered.
• Comply with traffic laws and maintain a safe driving record.

Required profile

• Valid UAE Heavy Vehicle Driver’s License (HDT or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of experience driving heavy vehicles, preferably in construction or ready‑mix concrete.
• In‑depth knowledge of UAE roads and major construction sites.
• Clean driving record and ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends.
• Physical fitness for basic vehicle maintenance and assisting with loading/unloading.

Required skills

• Communication skills for coordination with dispatch and site teams.
• Basic mechanical knowledge to identify and report vehicle issues.
• Spatial awareness and navigation skills for route planning.
