Helper – Maintenance & Cradle Support

About the role

DP World is seeking a motivated Helper to support routine maintenance and preparation of vessel cradles at its Dubai operations. This full‑time position plays a vital part in ensuring equipment readiness and smooth port activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in routine maintenance of cradles.
• Prepare cradles for various vessels.
• Maintain good working relationships with workers, foremen, supervisors and management.
• Perform foreman duties when appointed for specific projects.
• Verify material standards before use and report any damages.
• Work within allocated timescales to meet department targets.
• Attend required training sessions.
• Follow day‑to‑day operational procedures to ensure continuity of work.
• Carry out other related duties as directed.

• Attention to detail when inspecting materials and equipment.
• Willingness to follow safety and operational guidelines.
• Flexibility to take on foreman responsibilities as needed.
