About the role
The Homeroom Teacher will be the primary point of contact for students throughout the school day, fostering a supportive learning environment and guiding them toward academic and personal success. This full‑time position is based in Dubai and aligns with the school’s mission to develop responsible, capable individuals.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver allocated curriculum classes and prepare related lesson plans.
- Assess, monitor, record, and report student progress.
- Provide academic advice and guidance to students.
- Promote and safeguard student wellbeing and safety.
- Collaborate with parents and staff to support student interests.
- Participate in continuous professional development.
- Contribute to curriculum development.
- Maintain classroom order and discipline.
Required profile
- Minimum BS/BA in the relevant subject.
- Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed, Masters of Education, Professional Teaching Certificate) from an accredited institution.
- Ability to meet TELS UAE certification requirements and obtain Competent Teacher Status (CTS) within one year of joining.
