Hostess – Guest Reception & Seating

About the role

The Hostess is the first point of contact for guests at Amaya Restaurant & Lounge in Dubai. Working full‑time on‑site, you will create a welcoming atmosphere and ensure smooth seating flow throughout the dining area.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly, managing both reservations and walk‑ins.
• Coordinate table assignments with the service team to optimise guest turnover.
• Maintain an organized host stand and waiting area.
• Answer phone inquiries with professional etiquette, providing accurate information about the menu and venue.
• Handle special requests and resolve minor issues quickly to enhance the guest experience.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and customer‑service abilities.
• Effective communication skills and polished phone etiquette.
• Experience with reservations management, including booking, confirming, and organizing seating.
• Professional, guest‑focused demeanor with attention to detail.
• Previous experience in hospitality, fine dining, or luxury venues is preferred.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
