Hostess – Guest Service (Full‑Time)

About the role

The Hostess is the first point of contact for guests entering the restaurant. You will greet, seat and guide guests, ensuring a welcoming and seamless dining experience while upholding The Ritz‑Carlton Gold Standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, determine party size and escort them to a clean, properly set table.
• Pull out chairs, place menus, and ensure each setting includes a napkin, silverware and any required items.
• Arrange tables and chairs for groups with special needs and maintain orderly dining areas.
• Check that menus are current, clean and wrinkle‑free.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift, following clean‑as‑you‑go procedures.
• Monitor the dining room for seating availability, service quality, safety and guest wellbeing.
• Follow all company safety, security and uniform policies and report any incidents.
• Answer telephone calls with professional etiquette and assist guests with inquiries.
• Stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience or specific licenses needed.
