About the role
We are looking for a friendly Hostess to welcome guests at our JW Marriott property in Dubai. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring guests feel welcomed and comfortably seated throughout their dining experience.
Key responsibilities
- Greet guests, determine party size, and escort them to clean, properly set tables.
- Pull out chairs, place menus, and ensure each setting includes napkins, silverware, and any required items.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, practice clean‑as‑you‑go procedures, and keep menus tidy and up‑to‑date.
- Monitor seating availability, service flow, and guest safety, and report any issues to management.
- Adhere to company, safety, and security policies, including uniform standards and confidentiality.
- Communicate professionally with guests and team members, answering phones with proper etiquette.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- No prior work experience required.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
- Professional appearance and willingness to follow uniform standards.
