About the role
We are looking for a friendly and professional Hostess to join our restaurant team at Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel in Dubai. As the first point of contact for guests, you will create a welcoming atmosphere and help ensure smooth service flow throughout the dining area.
Key responsibilities
- Greet guests as they enter and place them on a waiting list when necessary.
- Provide menus, answer initial questions, and seat guests in tables or waiting areas.
- Assign tables according to guest preferences while balancing table rotation for servers.
- Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service.
- Handle complaints promptly and assist in resolution.
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and respond to inquiries.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu.
- Support other restaurant positions as needed.
- Deliver consistently high levels of customer service.
Required profile
- Previous experience in Food & Beverage or restaurant operations.
- Strong attention to detail to achieve operational excellence.
- Excellent guest service skills.
- Fluent English communication.
