Hostess – Long's Bar

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and self‑motivated Hostess to join the team at Long's Bar, located in Towers Rotana Dubai. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, delivering a warm and professional welcome while ensuring smooth front‑of‑house operations.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly, courteous demeanor and escort them to their tables.
• Manage reservations, maintain the reservation book, and answer telephone inquiries promptly.
• Prepare the outlet before opening, coordinating with the service team on floor plans and table allocations.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the entrance and dining areas.
• Stay knowledgeable about menus, promotions, and specials to provide accurate recommendations.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their visit and address any concerns.
• Assist in updating the outlet’s database and ensure accurate record‑keeping.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in hospitality or a related field.
• Previous experience in food & beverage service within a hotel environment is preferred.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English; additional languages are a plus.
• Polished appearance, well‑groomed, and a pleasant smile.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a service‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Reservation management and telephone etiquette.
• Basic knowledge of POS or reservation software (if applicable).
