Hostess – Wet Deck (Full‑Time)

About the role

The Wet Deck team at W Hotels in Dubai is looking for a friendly and attentive Hostess to welcome guests, manage seating, and ensure a smooth dining experience. This full‑time position involves direct interaction with guests and coordination with the service team.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, determine party size and seat them at clean, prepared tables.
• Pull out chairs, place menus, napkins, silverware and ensure proper table settings.
• Guide guests through the dining area and provide assistance as needed.
• Arrange tables and chairs for groups with special requirements.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, following clean‑as‑you‑go procedures.
• Monitor dining room for seating availability, safety and guest wellbeing.
• Follow company safety, security and uniform policies.
• Answer telephone calls using professional etiquette.
• Support team goals and maintain positive working relationships.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior experience required; willingness to learn.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting, carrying or moving objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Professional appearance and commitment to confidentiality.
