Host/Hostess – Latin American Restaurant

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Host/Hostess to join our Latin American restaurant in Dubai. The role involves greeting guests, managing seating, and ensuring a welcoming dining environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival, determine party size and escort them to their tables.
• Prepare tables by pulling chairs, placing clean menus, napkins, silverware and any required place settings.
• Monitor dining room flow, adjust seating for groups with special needs, and maintain a tidy work area.
• Ensure menus are current, clean and plentiful.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies, report incidents and complete required training.
• Maintain a professional appearance and uphold confidentiality of company information.
• Answer telephone calls with proper etiquette and support team members to achieve common goals.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior experience required; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of restaurant seating procedures.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow “clean‑as‑you‑go” practices.
