Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor – Housekeeping

About the role

We are seeking a Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor to ensure that guest rooms, public areas and facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation at our Palm Jumeirah property. Reporting to Housekeeping Management, you will oversee the final inspection of rooms, coordinate with multiple departments and support daily housekeeping operations.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas and pool areas after cleaning to verify compliance with quality standards.
• Generate and update sold‑room reports, verify room status, identify discrepancies and prioritize cleaning tasks.
• Liaise with Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office and Laundry to coordinate efforts and resolve issues.
• Document and communicate room‑status changes, prepare shift hand‑overs and complete required paperwork.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluation and employee coaching.
• Follow all company safety, security and maintenance policies; report hazards or incidents promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months of experience in a housekeeping or hotel cleaning environment.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 55 lb unaided and heavier items with assistance.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, kneel and perform repetitive motions throughout a shift.
• Professional appearance, strong confidentiality standards and excellent verbal communication.
