Hotel Plumber – Guest Maintenance Specialist

About the role

The Plumber will respond to guest repair requests and perform preventative and corrective maintenance across the hotel’s facilities. This role supports guest satisfaction by ensuring plumbing, mechanical and related systems operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests, troubleshooting and fixing plumbing issues such as clogged drains and toilet problems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, air‑handling units and mechanical room assets, including cleaning, lubrication and visual inspections.
• Identify and operate shut‑off valves for equipment and building utilities, and use Lockout/Tagout procedures before work.
• Maintain inventory, requisition parts and supplies, and communicate daily activities to other shifts.
• Carry out minor painting, drywall, wood‑trim repairs, and landscaping or sprinkler maintenance as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Some experience in general maintenance, plumbing and surface preparation.
• Valid driver’s license.

Required skills

• Plumbing repair (unclogging drains, toilet plunging).
• Basic electrical work (lamp replacement, switch and outlet repair).
• Air‑conditioning and refrigeration fundamentals.
• Lockout/Tagout safety procedures.
• Landscaping sprinkler system maintenance.
