Housekeeping Attendant – 5‑Star Hotel

About the role

Join the Fairmont Ajman team as a Housekeeping Attendant and help create memorable stays for guests at a beachfront 5‑star hotel. You will ensure each guest room is clean, comfortable, and ready for arrival, contributing to the hotel's reputation for excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Replenish guest amenities and supplies as required.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or lost‑and‑found items to the supervisor immediately.
• Maintain clean, well‑stocked housekeeping equipment and trolleys.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Respect guest privacy and confidentiality while servicing rooms.
• Assist with laundry duties, linen distribution, and public‑area cleaning when needed.
• Deliver prompt, courteous service and anticipate guest needs.
• Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and grooming standards.

Required profile

• Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel environment is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented setting.
• Physically fit and able to handle repetitive tasks and lifting.
• Positive, reliable, and service‑oriented attitude.
• Basic communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
