Housekeeping Attendant (Female, Myanmar/Indonesian)

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated female housekeeping attendant fluent in Myanmar or Indonesian to join our Abu Dhabi hotel team. The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest comfort across rooms and public areas.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms, suites, bathrooms, corridors, public areas and staff areas according to company standards.
• Make beds, change linen, replace towels, dust and polish furniture, vacuum and mop floors, and clean windows.
• Replenish guest amenities, toiletries, minibar items, stationery, towels and cleaning supplies.
• Inspect rooms and areas to ensure cleanliness, order, hygiene and readiness for occupancy.
• Follow cleaning schedules, daily task assignments and instructions from the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Handle guest belongings and confidential information with discretion.
• Report lost property, maintenance defects, safety hazards, missing items and guest concerns promptly.
• Use cleaning chemicals, equipment and supplies safely and efficiently.
• Maintain housekeeping trolleys, cupboards, storage rooms and work areas in a clean, organized and fully stocked condition.
• Collect, sort, handle and deliver soiled and clean linen following hygiene and laundry procedures.
• Respond courteously to reasonable guest requests and refer issues to the supervisor.
• Comply with health and safety, infection prevention, manual handling, fire safety, chemical handling and environmental procedures.
• Support deep‑cleaning activities, special events, seasonal cleaning and other operational requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Direct Manager.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a housekeeping attendant, room attendant, cleaner, domestic worker, hotel attendant or similar role is preferred.
• Experience in hotels, serviced apartments, residential, healthcare, catering or commercial cleaning operations is an advantage.
• Knowledge of guest‑room cleaning, bathroom sanitation, linen handling, cleaning chemicals, housekeeping equipment and hygiene standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Myanmar or Indonesian.
• Strong attention to detail.
