Housekeeping Attendant

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Media One Hotel in Dubai. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences through meticulous cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms and public areas.

Key responsibilities

• Receive work assignments, keys, and supplies from the supervisor and sign the key log accurately.
• Clean rooms and bathrooms, including making beds, washing sinks, bathtubs, toilets, tiles, mirrors, floors, and polishing brass or metal fixtures.
• Keep fire exits and stairways clear of any obstruction.
• Report maintenance issues immediately.
• Pick up litter from corridors and pathways.
• Vacuum carpets and upholstered furniture, dust and wipe furniture, and empty ashtrays and wastebaskets.
• Replenish bathroom and room supplies.
• Tidy and arrange guest toilet articles on vanity tops.
• Spot‑clean carpets when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness of guest corridors, service pantries, and service areas.
• Remove room‑service trays and trolleys from guest rooms and corridors.
• Coordinate with valet service for laundry, dry‑cleaning, or pressing services.

Required profile

• Vocational training in hotel housekeeping (preferred).
• Good command of English (advantage).
• Friendly, caring, and dedicated attitude.
• Cross‑cultural sensitivity.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team player willing to put in extra effort when required.
