Housekeeping Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Housekeeping Attendant to join the team at Beach Rotana Hotel in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest service through meticulous cleaning and upkeep of guest rooms and public areas.

Key responsibilities

• Receive work assignments, keys and supplies from the supervisor and sign the key log accurately.
• Clean rooms and bathrooms, including making beds, washing sinks, bathtubs, toilets, tiles, mirrors, floors and polishing brass or metal fixtures.
• Vacuum carpets and upholstered furniture, dust and wipe furniture, empty ashtrays and wastebaskets.
• Replenish bathroom and room supplies, tidy guest toilet articles and spot‑clean carpets as needed.
• Maintain clear fire exits and stairways, report any maintenance issues immediately.
• Keep corridors, service pantries and service areas neat and tidy at all times.
• Remove room‑service trays and trolleys from guest rooms and corridors.
• Inform valet service to collect guests’ clothes for laundry, dry‑cleaning or pressing services.

Required profile

• Vocational training in hotel housekeeping is preferred.
• Good command of English is an advantage.
• Friendly, caring and dedicated with strong cross‑cultural sensitivity.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
• Willingness to put in extra effort when required and a genuine passion for serving customers.
• Team‑oriented mindset and strong sense of responsibility.
