Housekeeping Attendant

About the role

Salayel Hospitality is looking for a diligent Housekeeping Attendant to ensure guest rooms and public areas are clean, hygienic and presented to the highest standards. You will work as part of a team to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for all guests.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors and public areas according to daily schedules.
• Change bed linens, replace towels and replenish guest amenities.
• Report maintenance issues, lost-and-found items and guest requests promptly.
• Follow health, safety and hygiene procedures, including proper chemical handling.
• Use housekeeping equipment and materials efficiently and safely.
• Adhere to company SOPs, quality standards and sustainability practices.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Housekeeping Attendant in a hotel or similar hospitality setting (preferred).
• Physically fit – able to stand, walk, bend and lift for extended periods.
• Good attention to detail, time-management and basic English communication skills.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Positive, reliable and team-oriented attitude.

Required skills

• Knowledge of cleaning standards and procedures.
• Proficiency in chemical handling and safety.
• Operation of housekeeping equipment and materials.
